The Teacher Supply Depot was established as a joint venture between the Knox County Council PTA and Knox County Schools in 2000-2001, the Teacher Supply Depot is a collection center and warehouse of new and pre-used materials donated by businesses and individuals that are distributed to our Knox County public school teachers and teachers’ assistants free of charge at least four times per school year. Businesses often discard materials they no longer need or have in short supply in inventory. In many cases, these items can be used by teachers to enhance classroom instruction. The Teacher Supply Depot is open year around for donations - with the exception of holidays and vacation time. We are in continual need of supplies to stock our shelves for each opening. If you have items, money, or time to donate, please contact us via phone or email. In October 2010, the Teacher Supply Depot moved to the former Cedar Bluff Intermediate School. We occupy the second floor, and the downstairs portion is now the Cedar Bluff Pre-K. Many hours were put in by many individuals to achieve this move. The new location will bring about a few changes in the way we serve teachers and we look forward to the challenges. Another change is in the delivery of donations. Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring a donation (call ahead if possible) and take a tour! |

Our goal is to provide Knox County teachers and their assistants with free new and pre-used materials to enhance instruction in their classroom and to promote student achievement. |
